Teaching

Jikon has substantial experience convening and lecturing courses on International Political Economy at the post-graduate level at both the Australian National University and Macquarie University, Sydney. He has also tutored in International Relations Theory at the postgraduate level and "Development and Change" at the undergraduate level.

In Semester 1, 2012, Jikon will convene a post-graduate course in "International Politics and Economics of East Asia & the Pacific" at Macquarie University, and an undergraduate course in "Development and Change" at The Australian National University.

Current Research

I am currently preparing a paper on the global governance of Islamic finance for a workshop in February 2012. In 2011, I completed a book manuscript that will be published by Palgrave Macmillan in 2012. I also have two journal articles that are expected to be published in the first quarter of 2012.
